Lecturer in BA (Hons) Stadium & Events Management
Mario’s working career has taken him throughout Europe, USA, the Middle East and Russia. Prior to UCFB, he spent 15 years working in the venue and event space as a Head of IT, Project Manager, Director of IT and Management Consultant where he helped activate three Formula 1 circuits in Abu Dhabi, Texas and Sochi.
Prior to that Mario worked as the Head of IT at Dubai Sports City and Norwich City FC, where he led the implementation of the IT infrastructure and CRM strategy. Mario spent the first part of his career working in oil and gas, offshore construction, chemicals, FMCG and manufacturing as a Financial Analyst and Management Accountant.
