Lecturer in Coaching and Physical Education

Emily is a UEFA B Licence coach with experience of working within The FA’s Girls’ Talent Pathway, and is an active practitioner as part of the coaching team at Millwall Lionesses Regional Talent Club. She also has over eight years’ experience of working with women’s teams within higher education.

In addition to her roles within coaching, Emily has over five years of football development experience with a focus on youth and education, and still currently runs a women and girl’s community football club across several boroughs in central London as part of the club’s management committee. Emily also works for The FA as an affiliate coach education tutor delivering across a variety of courses and works directly with coaches and clubs as an FA Coach Mentor.

She has a Masters in Sport and Physical Education with a research focus on the playground environment, physical activity levels and play behaviours of early years’ foundation stage (EYFS) children.
