The conference explored the different careers available, offered careers in sport workshop and provided a unique insight into the sector. Industry professionals, UCFB students and alumni shared their experiences of how they got to where they are today.
League Manager’s Association Guest Speaker Session
A key part of our offering at UCFB is the access to high profile sports professionals. Through our partnership with the League Manager’s Association, we ran a guest speaker session specifically for our applicants where we welcomed one of England’s brightest young managers – Garry Monk. Garry has managed in the Premier League and Championship with Swansea City, Middlesbrough, Leeds United, Birmingham City and Sheffield Wednesday.

Student Finance
You can now apply for Student Finance for September 2021 with the Student Loans Company.
When you fill in your form for the Student Loans Company, make sure you quote the relevant institution title and the course title for the degree programme of your choice. For new students joining in September 2021, please type in the institution 'University of East London'. Then also type in the course that you will be studying. Remember to select the correct campus and check whether it is with or without a foundation year.
Accommodation
UCFB has partnered with Unite Students at both the Wembley and Etihad campus to ensure students have access to comfortable and secure accommodation close to both campuses.Discover more
