What should I do if I can’t attend the Taster Evening dates listed on the website?

If you cannot attend the Taster Evening date currently listed on our website, then don’t worry as we have plenty of other opportunities throughout the year for you to visit UCFB. Please keep an eye on our website over the coming months for Open Evening dates. Otherwise, if you would like to arrange a one to one visit with one of our Future Students team at either of our campuses, then please contact us.

Will I be there all day?

No, you will not need to be there all day. The UCFB Taster Evenings will run from 6.30pm until 9pm.

Where do I register on the evening?

B2 Club Wembley Reception, Wembley Stadium.

Can you give me directions please?

Please find the UCFB Wembley map here.

You will also find the directions to the stadium attached within your confirmation email.

How do I get there on public transport?

Please make your way to the Club Wembley main entrance, as shown on the map.

Access from Wembley Park station

As you approach Wembley Stadium along Olympic Way, remain at street level and walk under the pedestrian walkway. Straight in front of you is the Club Wembley main entrance.

Access from Wembley Stadium and Wembley Central stations

From Wembley Central, turn right out of the station and walk down the High Road. Turn left at the triangle, towards Wembley Stadium station. Cross White Horse Bridge and turn left onto Wembley Park Boulevard, and follow the path in front of the London Designer Outlet. Once you reach Wembley Arena on your left, turn right and walk under the pedestrian walk way. The Club Wembley main entrance is at the top of this road.

Access by car

Make your way to the Stadium and follow signs for the Yellow Car Park off Engineers Way. Postcode – HA9 0EG.

Exit the car park on foot onto Engineers Way. Turn right and walk along the road until you reach the zebra crossing. Cross the road and turn left on Olympic Way. The Club Wembley main entrance is at the top of this road.

How many guests can I bring?

You can bring a maximum of two guests on the evening. Please state the name of the guests you intend to bring on your booking form.

How do I cancel?

If you wish to cancel your UCFB Taster Evening booking, please email events@ucfb.com.

Who do I email if I can’t make it?

If you can no longer make it on the evening, please email events@ucfb.com and a member of our events team will get back in touch with you.

What will the evening involve?

The UCFB Taster Evening event will give you the chance to experience the day in the life of a UCFB student at one of our world-class campuses. It will consist of a sample academic session with an academic from your chosen Masters degree programme, a tour of your chosen campus, a chance to view our student accommodation and the exciting opportunity to hear from a very special guest speaker from the football and sport industry. We will also have experts ready to answer questions in the following areas: admission; student finance; scholarships and bursaries; accommodation; students’ union; athletic union; learning support; student services and employability and careers in sport.

Will I have to pay for parking?

Parking is free on the day. Please make sure you include the vehicle registration number and vehicle model on your booking form if you wish to park on the day.

Where do I park?

Yellow Car Park on Engineers Way.

Please note vehicle registrations can only be validated if they are registered at least 24 hours before the event. You can email your vehicle registration and vehicle make to events@ucfb.com.

Will I have a guide for the evening?

UCFB staff will be on hand throughout the evening to make sure you find your way round the stadium and help you follow the schedule of events.

I booked my place on the UCFB Taster Evening a while ago, am I still booked on? How can I check?

If you received a confirmation email from us, then your place is booked. However, if you would like to check for any reason, please contact events@ucfb.com and we’ll be able to confirm your booking for you.

Is there an accommodation tour?

Grand Felda House, our accommodation provider for 2018, can be viewed any time before the Taster Evening. Please make your own arrangements should you wish to view the accommodation, and drop in at the following address to view a room:

My guests have changed, how do I let you know?

If your guest names change, please email events@ucfb.com who will be able to update your booking.

Will I require ID?

All attendees, including their guests, will be asked to provide a form of ID, for example a driving licence, passport or bank card, during the registration process on the evening. Bag checks will also be carried out for security reasons.

How do I get there on public transport?

Access by car

All Taster Evening attendees should drive at the Etihad Campus via Gate 7 on Ashton New Road (A662) and park in the Grey Car Park.
Our reception is located at the East Stand entrance (entrance F). South Stand car parking is complimentary for our guests.

Access by tram

The Metrolink tram system is also a great way of accessing the Etihad Stadium. Please board the Ashton-under-Lyne or Etihad Campus routes. The journey takes approximately 11 minutes from Piccadilly station and then reception is a short walk from the tram stop.
