What to expect from a Virtual Open Day

The Virtual Open Day will give you the chance to learn more about us, chat to our academic team and current students, as well as access any additional information about anything from Accommodation, Student Finance, Admissions to the Student’s Union.

Accessing the event

Complete the registration form to sign up for your chosen UCFB or GIS open day - you can register by clicking here
Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email containing the schedule, as well as the link to access the Virtual Open Day. Please note, the link will not go live until the day of the event.
If you misplace this email, do not worry. You will receive a reminder email on the day of the event.

Before the event

Highlight which live sessions you would like to attend and create your own schedule for the day.
Prepare a list of questions you would like to ask our staff & student ambassadors.

On the day

Once you have logged on to the event, we recommend you start your time with us by watching our live welcome presentation. This will introduce you to UCFB or GIS and outline the schedule for the day.

Watch a range of on-demand and live presentations including a personal statement workshop, admissions advice, student finance and student services support.

Campus tours

Take a virtual tour of the iconic campus which will be your academic home for three years.

Throughout the event, our Academic staff and student support departments will be available live to answer your questions

We have a number of our existing students who will be appearing live answering questions on their experiences at UCFB or GIS.
