Applications to our Study Abroad programmes can be made by filling in our online application form. To start your application, simply click the link at the bottom of this page to create an account.

As part of the application process, we require the following documents:

• A personal statement (preferably no fewer than 500 words) detailing your reasons for wanting to study at UCFB;
• Copies of transcripts of University level study and English translations (if applicable);*
• One academic and one professional reference (if applicable);*
• Copy of proof of English language level e.g. Academic IELTS certificate (if applicable).*
*These additional documents can be sent at a later stage if they are not available at time of application.

International applications should also include:

• A colour copy of a valid passport;
• Copies of any previous or current UK visas.

Applications will be assessed by a member of the admissions team and may also be reviewed by our academic programme leader. Applicants will receive updates to their application through email and will be able to view your conditions and progress of your offer by logging in to the applicant portal.

Applying through the UCFB Learner Portal

To apply to UCFB directly, you will need to use our UCFB applicant portal. If you have applied to UCFB before, you will already have an account.

To create an account, click the link at the bottom of this page and select the ‘Create an Account’ on the portal login screen.

Once you have done this, you will be asked to create an account using some basic information (this will all carry across to your application).

The password you create must contain at least 9 characters, including one uppercase letter and at least 1 digit.
