BBC commentator John Motson to speak to UCFB Wembley students as part of guest speaker series

UCFB is delighted to announce that John Motson, every football fan’s favourite commentator, will be talking to UCFB Wembley students next week as part of the Executive Guest Speaker Series.

Motson, now in his fifth decade of commentating will appear at UCFB Wembley on Tuesday 28^th March.

Affectionately known as ‘Motty’ to most football fans, Motson has been the voice of English football for over five decades in his role with the BBC. Motson began commentating on Match of The Day in the 1970s, which he still works on now. Up until his retirement from live games in 2008, Motson had covered over 1,500 matches at home and abroad, including World, European and FA Cup finals.

As one of the most recognisable and authoritative voices in British football over the years, Motson’s guest speaker session promises to be one full of great anecdotes and advice on a career in football media.

John Motson will appear at UCFB Wembley at 11am on Tuesday 28^th March. Location TBC.
