The Global Institute of Sport (GIS) is delighted to announce that we’re ranked in the prestigious SportBusiness Magazine’s Global Top 40 Postgraduate Programmes, sharing the stage with the world’s most elite institutions.

Our MSc International Sport Management course ranked 34th in the world and 13th in Europe, thanks to the commitment and dedication of our incredible academics, our ambitious students and the unique learning model we offer.

Sharona Friedman, President of GIS, said: “We are honoured to be included in the SportBusiness Global Top 40 Master’s programmes. I am so very proud of our amazing students, staff and alumni who have been rightly recognised with this ranking of the world’s best.

“GIS and our sports industry advisors and partners are committed to providing an immersive student experience with the top graduate employment rates, and I’m excited to see that reflected with our inclusion in this list.”

Having initially launched our postgraduate degrees at the iconic Wembley Stadium and our Etihad Campus in Manchester, GIS’ cutting-edge programmes are now available to students at our new stadium-based campuses in North America and Australia, as well as online globally.

Our close collaboration with the sports industry provides students with unrivalled networking and internship opportunities, and access to insights from leaders in sport around the globe.

With 98% of 2021 alumni either in full-time work or study nine months after completing their degrees, and a world-leading 69% of these working in the sports industry, our courses are specifically designed to prepare our students for a career in sport - through what we teach, where we teach and how we teach.
