Men’s 1st, Northern 3A league

The guys continued the trend of league success this week, with their 3-1 win over MMU 1st – coupled with Bangor University 1st losing to MMU 2nd – ensuring another championship for UCFB. Racing into a 3-0 lead at half-time, the boys played the second half at their own pace in blustery conditions.

Men’s 2nd, Northern 5C league

After beating MMU 5th 2-1, the boys have set up a title decider next week against University of Bolton 1st, where a win will secure the league title. A draw would be enough though if MMU 5th fail to win either of their two remaining games.

Men’s 3rd, Northern 6D

The boys beat University of Bradford 2nd 4-1 at home to finish the season in third place, with four wins and four defeats.

Men’s 4th, Northern 7A

It was a similar story for the 4s as well, this time with an 8-1 home win over University of Bradford 3rd, to finish the season in third place with four wins and four defeats.

Women’s 1st, Northern 3A league

After securing the title last week, the girls drew 1-1 away at Keele University to finish the season unbeaten, impressively conceding just four league goals all year.
