UCFB is delighted to announce the line-up for the inaugural UCFB Future Leaders in Football and Sport Conference at St George’s Park.

Set to take place in April, the event will bring together the best in leadership advice and networking from across the football industry. Figureheads from the world of football management, media and business will gather for one day at the epicentre of the national game to deliver a series of inspirational talks, seminars and practical sessions exclusively to UCFB students.

The day will include a panel discussion with former England goalkeeper Rachel Brown-Finnis, the chief executive of the League Managers Association, Richard Bevan, and The National League boss Michael Tattersall, as well leaders from The Football Association. Further guests courtesy of the LMA will also be announced prior to the event.

Former Hull City boss Mike Phelan will lead a coaching masterclass on the day, and the UCFB Campus Cup final will take place which will see UCFB Wembley and UCFB Etihad Campus students go head-to-head in a one-off 11-a-side match.

There will also be the chance for students to tour the world-class facilities that play host to all England national teams.

Neil Silver, UCFB’s Head of Employment & Enrichment, said: “We are delighted once again to be able to offer UCFB students an unrivalled opportunity to enrich their studies. St George’s Park is an inspirational setting, and we have put in place a conference full of motivational speeches, activities, and networking opportunities with industry leaders at the home of FA education, which is not to be missed.”

The UCFB Future Leaders in Football and Sport Conference will take place at St George’s Park, in Burton-upon-Trent, on Wednesday 25th April. The event is open to all UCFB third year and postgraduate students and will take place every year. Students can register for the event through Moodle.
