University Campus of Football Business (UCFB) is delighted to announce a partnership with Premier Sports Network (PSN), which will enable its students and alumni to access their global events and gain invaluable work experience.

UCFB, who provides university degrees dedicated to the football and sports industry, and PSN, the world’s largest private network within elite-level sports across finance in sport and player care, will work closely to give students a number of employment, networking and learning opportunities across the sporting spectrum. Students and alumni of the Global Institute of Sport (GIS) – UCFB’s new destination for Master’s degrees and executive education – will also benefit from the partnership.

As part of this, PSN will contribute to the UCFB Employability & Enrichment experience by delivering guest speaker sessions and conducting research projects with students at its campuses in London and Manchester, which have the iconic Wembley and Etihad stadiums at their heart. In return, UCFB will provide its leading academics and staff to speak at PSN events and conferences.

Both organisations have worked closely in the past, but this marks the start of a formal partnership in order to secure regular opportunities for the students.

PSN joins a long and illustrious list of institutions UCFB is proud to call partners, including The Football Association, The Rugby Football League and Kick It Out.

Commenting on the new partnership, UCFB Governor and GIS President Sharona Friedman said: “We’ve always enjoyed close ties with Premier Sports Network, so formally entering into a partnership was an opportunity we could not turn down. They have always provided our students with excellent opportunities to learn and grow as individuals, so we’re delighted to be able to continue this offer to our student and alumni body.”

Spencer Hidge, PSN Founder, added: “UCFB has provided us with a host of determined students with excellent sports industry knowledge in the past to work with us on our events, so we know first-hand what to expect from this partnership. We can’t wait to welcome more students and alumni into our team to help drive forward the global sports industry together.”
