UCFB and its Global Institute of Sport are delighted to continue their relationship with the League Managers Association (LMA) into the 2022/23 season.

Launched in 2015, the thriving partnership has enabled UCFB to bring leaders from the world of football to our Wembley and Etihad campuses to deliver exclusive guest speaker sessions to our undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The LMA is the collective, representative voice of all managers from the Premier League, the Sky Bet Championship, Sky Bet Leagues 1 and 2 and the FA Women's Super League and Championship.

Designed to give students an insight into the multi-billion pound football industry, the partnership will provide UCFB with unprecedented access to LMA Members in order to enhance curriculum programmes with their insights and experiences via live Q&As and filmed content.

In the past, the likes of England boss Gareth Southgate, Liverpool legend and Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard, and former Lionesses manager Hope Powell, have all delivered sessions and offered advice to our students, who, in turn, get to learn from the very best in the industry.

“We hope to continue to create many opportunities for its members to share their skills and knowledge with our students. The LMA partnership adds real value to our degree programmes for continuing professional development within international sport and for the wider business marketplace.”

LMA Commercial Director Elena Murphy, added: “The LMA is proud to work in partnership with UCFB helping to prepare students for a career in the football industry with unique insight and experience from our members; football managers.”
