At UCFB we are delighted to welcome the 2015/16 cohort of students to our two iconic campuses; Wembley Stadium, home of UCFB Wembley and Turf Moor, home of UCFB Burnley. Over a period of three days, UCFB Wembley and UCFB Burnley students have settled into what will be their new homes for the next three years throughout their unique academic journey.

On Friday 11th September, UCFB Burnley students were invited to an unparalleled Q&A session in the on-campus Students’ Union bar with Burnley Football Club Manager, Sean Dyche, and his Assistant Manager, Ian Woan. The following evening, UCFB Wembley students enjoyed an insightful session held in the world-famous SSE Arena with former Director of Communications at Liverpool, Everton and Manchester City, Paul Tyrrell and Head of School of Media & Journalism at UCFB, Neil Silver.

Over the next few days, students will be involved in a series of events organised by the Student Services team who have delivered an exciting Freshers’ Week schedule to kick start the new students’ inaugural year at UCFB. Activities range from themed nights out in Central London, Manchester and Preston, a boat party on the Thames, the UCFB World Series Oktoberfest Party, paintballing, a comedy night, a trip to ZSL London Zoo and many more unrivalled social orientation activities.
