UCFB student Yury Esin is reaching the end of his first year working for Sports Management Worldwide (SMWW), a private online sports management institution and sports agency, and the UCFB Wembley second year student is relishing the experience he’s getting at working with elite footballers and internationally-acclaimed agents.

The International Football Business student initially started as an independent contractor in April 2015 following the completion of the Soccer Agent course at SMWW. He is currently scouting for talented football players that he can recommend for the agency to sign and promote to clubs. Aspiring sports agent Yury successfully signed his first client for SMWW in September, and has grown from strength to strength ever since.

On his first year working in the highly sought-after profession, Yury reflected:

I really enjoy the fact that I get direct access to a wide range of contacts within the agency, in particular the fellow Agent Advisors that I work with. I also have the privilege to have access to discounts on further Sports Management Worldwide courses, as well as conferences that they host all over the world.

“Given the fact that I would like to embark on a career as a football agent in the future, my position at SMWW enables me to get some invaluable work experience in the industry that I want to break into.”
