QPR are teaming up with UCFB once again to inspire the next generation of broadcasters and bring supporters even closer to the action.

Students from the Wembley higher education institution’s Sport Broadcasting course will be getting up close and personal with the R’s this season, filming and producing quality content covering QPR Under 18s, QPR Under 23s and QPR FC Women as well as going behind the scenes in W12.

A new feature-length programme show is also in production with the first episode of ‘Inside Rangers’ launching later this month, including interviews with manager Mark Warburton and founder of The Kiyan Prince Foundation, Mark Prince.

“We’re delighted to be working with UCFB once again,” Andy Watkins, QPR FC’s Social Media Manager, said.

“Our partnership continues to develop year after year and this season the students are taking it to another level. The coverage they provide is invaluable and we hope the experience we’re able to offer them in return is of equal benefit, giving them an exciting insight into working in the football media industry.”

Mick Kelly, Programme Leader for UCFB's Sports Broadcasting degree, added: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to test and improve their broadcasting skills in a live, dynamic football environment.

“It is impossible to put into words how much this experience adds to their learning on the degree and how their confidence grows as a result, so I am very grateful to everyone at QPR who has enabled this partnership between the club and UCFB to grow.”
