At UCFB we are delighted to announce that UCFB are now one of very few higher education institutions that deliver FA Level Two Coaching training internally. This will add to the existing FA Level One capability which was obtained last year, enabling those students who have passed their FA Level One Coaching Award to progress smoothly on to the next level and the journey to becoming an FA Licensed Coach.
This news comes at a fantastic time for UCFB after recently being recognised as a validation centre for coaching qualifications by 1st4Sport, the awarding body in the active learning and leisure industry. Spanning both UCFB Burnley and UCFB Wembley, the 1st4Sport validation enables students to further enhance their unparalleled student experience and improve their employment opportunities in the sports industry.
In addition to offering both FA Level One and Two in football coaching, UCFB are also able to award 1st4Sport coaching certificates in Rugby Union, Basketball and Tennis. Whilst the qualifications will be of particular relevance to BA (Hons) Sports Business and Coaching programme students, those across all degree subjects will be able to work towards these industry-recognised credentials as part of UCFB’s unique Complementary Curriculum.
