Andrew is a highly experienced Programme Leader and Lecturer in Event Management, Marketing and International Sports and Football Business. Before commencing his academic career, Andrew worked for a variety of high-profile multinational organisations and professional industry associations organising global conferences, events and corporate hospitality. Andrew takes a very keen interest in the overall student experience and under his leadership, his BA International Events Management degree achieved the UK’s highest overall student satisfaction rating (100%) in the 2016/17 National Student Survey.
Andrew has keen research interests in the use of global sporting venues for conferences, meetings and events alongside strategic international destination marketing projects.
