As part of the UCFB Sports Entrepreneur Award 2019, MSc International Sport Management student Jason Gonsalves presented his business plan to a panel featuring UCFB Chairman Brendan Flood and Chief Marketing Officer Sharona Friedman, winning financial backing and mentoring.
Jason's business - Ace Boy Sports Group - will provide professional sports management services to the athletes and people of Bermuda, enabling the well-rounded growth and career development of Bermudian athletes and entities of the Bermuda sports industry.
Speaking to during the event, Jason commented: "I think it's really inspiring especially in sports where you don't see entrepreneur competitions like this. You can join the industry and I think it's truly great that UCFB inspires you to start your own business."
