Ushma Khadia has 18 years of experience in supporting students’ academic and employability needs through her work at Oldham Sixth Form College and the University of Manchester. Specialised in creating, and delivering workshops and resources that focus on developing students’ essay, assignment, CV, covering letter, application form and personal statement writing skills. Dedicated to coaching, mentoring and motivating students to achieve their academic and career aspirations. 

Programme leader for A level business, responsible for 150 students and 6 team members. Planned, organised and executed a schedule for course delivery, analysed/reported on student performance and implemented action plans to achieve organisational and sector specific benchmarks.  Project management skills developed when managing A level Business and BTEC Level 2 Business through curriculum reform. 

Implemented a comprehensive Employability and Enrichment programme whilst at Oldham Sixth Form College where partnerships were formed with Jaguar Land Rover, Cadbury, PWC, EY, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, AJ Bell Insurance, Working Options in Education and a range of companies in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector.
