UCFB Etihad Campus, which has the Etihad Stadium at its heart, is less than two miles from Manchester city centre and can be easily accessed by foot, car or public transport.

Walk

Directions from Manchester Piccadilly station – approx. 30 minutes: Leave the station by the main front entrance and follow the path along the row of shops. Once you hit Ducie Street, turn right and walk on Ducie Street until you meet the Ring Road (approx. five mins). Here, take a right and walk a short distance, passing over the canal. Next, take a left onto Pollard Street (by the Ibis Budget hotel), following it until a curve where the road becomes Merrill Street. Continue on Merrill Street the whole way until you see the Etihad Stadium. Once by the stadium, walk around the South Stand (the newest stand closest to the road) so it is on your left hand side. Follow the path around the stadium until you come to the main UCFB entrance in the East Stand.

Metrolink

The Etihad Stadium has its own dedicated Metrolink stop – Etihad Campus. Metrolink runs from the city centre to Etihad Campus, including Piccadilly Station and St Peter’s Square. Journey time for the tram service is less than ten minutes from Piccadilly Station. The Ashton line also serves Etihad Campus. Tickets must be bought before boarding, and ticket machines are available at every station.

Bus

A number of bus routes serve UCFB Etihad Campus from the city centre and outlying areas. These include the 188, 216 and 217 services. Click here for more information on public transport in Manchester.

Drive

UCFB Etihad Campus is well connected by public transport, so we recommend people arrive at the campus this way. There is, however, car parking available for those who wish to drive and the Etihad Campus is well signposted around Manchester. Most visitors coming from the north and south of the city will approach the Etihad Stadium via Alan Turing Way by following the signs for Sport City. If using a Sat Nav, use the postcode M11 3FF.

Parking at Etihad Stadium
Guests and visitors to UCFB should park in the blue car park accessed through gate two on Alanturing Way. On event days including UCFB Open Days you will need to park in the orange car park accessed through gate three.
