Over the last decade, we have seen an unprecedented rise in the number of football agents working in the professional game. Sport globally has become a commercial giant, with huge rewards available to those who compete and also for those who represent them in their negotiations.

Since FIFA passed the responsibility to regulate intermediaries (agents) in 2001 to individual countries and introduced the new ‘Regulations on Working with Intermediaries’ in 2015, there has been a significant increase in those taking up the profession in a legal and legitimate manner.

The UCFB Sports Agent Programme aims to provide UCFB students with a bespoke inside view of the process of becoming a sports agent or intermediary, and also aims to address some of the practicalities and realities of player representation both in the UK and overseas.

This programme is designed for students studying MSc Sport Management and MSc International Sport Management, and final year BA (Hons) International Football Business and BA (Hons) Sports Business & Sports Law students at UCFB Wembley.

Attendance from other UCFB students will be available on a first-come-first-served basis depending on remaining places.
