Student spotlight

UCFB students Meg Howarth and Libbie Strutt are taking on the challenge of running 27 miles in 27 days in March, as a gesture of support and solidarity with the 27% of university students who report suffering with mental health issues each year.

Both myself and the Students' Union want to show our support for women in sports education. From studying in this sector myself I know the challenges we can face, but with the support of each other we can all smash it together.

Our Scholarships

We work to ensure there are many opportunities for our students to show leadership and challenge perceptions in what is a traditionally male dominated industry.

Kira CoxStudent Experience Coordinator, Student Services

Women from all backgrounds and walks of life have shaped the world we live in. They fought for our rights, spoke against discrimination and excelled in every area possible to bring about change. International Women’s Day is here to remind us about the struggles as well as the wealth of contributions women have made and continue to make.
