UCFB hosted another Raise Your Game Event at our Wembley Campus alongside sports industry partners Kick It Out and Visit Tampa Bay.
The event saw female students visit our Arch View House facility and learn plenty to take forward into their future careers in the sports media world.
Students were able to network and engage with industry leaders, professionals at the top of their game, as they offered their top tips about securing a role in the industry.
Both UCFB Wembley and UCFB Manchester have held successful Raise Your Game events alongside Kick It Out in the past, all proving instrumental in providing that extra step to young people desperate to score their career goals in sport.

From a panel to keynote speaker sessions, there were plenty of opportunities for students to learn and take on board the advice given.
On the panel was Rukiah Ally, a UCFB graduate who studied BA (Hons) Sports Business and Sports Law. She advised the students to stay passionate and ignore negativity.
There were also workshops taking place, where students took part in Kick It Out’s anti-misogyny campaign.
One of the attendees was BA (Hons) Multimedia Sports Journalism student Freya, who said: “It was a very empowering day full of plenty of opportunities.”
UCFB’s sports industry partners Kick It Out themselves said: “Women’s Raise Your Game showed exactly why representation matters, from young women finding their confidence to creators proving that there is space for you in this industry.”
