Robert Huth looks back on Leicester City’s Premier League-winning campaign 10 years on

Premier League winner Robert Huth has been talking to UCFB about celebrating ten years since Leicester City’s historic title triumph of 2015-16.

Huth, who made 35 appearances in the astonishing 5000/1 Premier League title win for the Foxes, set up a formidable partnership alongside Leicester captain Wes Morgan, both of whom studied one of UCFB and VSI’s Executive Education courses.

Overall, Huth made 322 Premier League appearances, scoring 21 goals, but will forever be remembered for the part he played in arguably the most iconic Premier League season of all time.

He joined UCFB and VSI Executive Education at a padel tournament between UCFB Executive Education graduates and ex-athletes. During the tournament, which featured some of Huth’s former teammates from the historic 20125-16 Leicester City campaign, he looked back on what he and his team achieved together.

“Ten years,” he said, “how quick has that gone? What a memory!

“Now it’s come around to 10 years, obviously, everyone reminds you, but in between one year to 10, you forget a little bit about it.

“Well, it’s been already 10 years, so we’ve got an anniversary dinner and Danny Drinkwater is here, so it’s good to see him again.

“It’d be special just to meet not just the players and all the backroom staff and the physios, the doctors, kit men, everyone who was there because they played such a big role.

“So it’s nice to see them all together because it’s a memory that we all have together and I’m sure it’ll be fun talking about it.”
