Having spent some 15 years as a sports journalist for publications including, among others, the Chester Chronicle, Liverpool Echo, Manchester Evening News and Daily Mirror, Dave has become one of the football industry’s most prominent voices when it comes to football finance. A regular contributor to the BBC, Sky Sports and The Anfield Wrap, and a contributing writer to The Observer, Dave’s focus is on the intersection of football and money and his work has taken him around the globe, often to New York. Outside of being an active journalist, Dave has been a regular visiting lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University, University of Chester, University of Lancashire, and New York University in Manhattan.
