Understanding Your

Additional Costs

In many cases, costs associated with your course will be included in your course tuition fee.

However, in some cases there are ‘essential’ additional costs (those that you will be required to meet in addition to your course fee), and/or ‘optional’ additional costs (costs that are not required, but that you choose to pay).

We have included those essential or optional additional costs that relate to your course within the Course Specification which can be accessed on individual course pages.

Costs To Consider

Some of these costs that a student might incur, depending on your course of study include:

  • Disclosure and barring service checks (formerly Criminal Service Bureau or CRB checks) for work-based learning opportunities
  • Residentials, including travel and accommodation costs
  • Clothing and equipment – for example specialist coaching kit and appropriate footwear
  • Study abroad, work-based learning opportunities, field work, field trips – there will be travel, accommodation and subsistence costs
  • Additional qualifications – for example FA Coaching qualifications
  • Coaching equipment – for example tactics board
