There are prizes for both students and schools including tech prizes, tickets, school funding and exhibition opportunities.

The deadline for entries is 30 September 2026.

Judging takes place in October 2026 and winners are announced at the showcase event on 25 November 2026.

The competition is open to students aged 16–18 living in the UK, including those in school, college or home education.

No, attendance is not required to win.

Each entrant may submit one photograph only.

Yes, your image may be exhibited and used for promotional purposes and you will always be credited.

You must complete the entry form, submit your photograph via email, and include a short description (maximum 100 words). Your entry is only valid once both the form and image are received.

Images must be submitted as JPEG (.jpg) files and should ideally be no larger than 10MB.

Send your image via email including your full name and image title in the subject line, ensuring the title matches the form.

Yes, light editing such as brightness, contrast and cropping is allowed, but images must remain your original work and AI-generated images are not permitted.

Yes, you must have permission from anyone identifiable in your image, with extra care taken when photographing under 18s.

Entries are judged on creativity, storytelling, connection to the theme and overall impact.
