PGMOL joins UCFB to offer VAR Experience at UCAS Fair

UCFB was recently joined by the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) at our stand during the UCAS Fairs of 2024.

Before the 2024-25 academic year starts, we will be visiting UCAS fairs across the country to spread the word of UCFB.

The PGMOL joined us during some of our UCAS fairs to offer the prospective students a chance to take part in the VAR Experience.

Plenty of people came up asking about courses relating to coaching, refereeing and analysis. The VAR Experience allowed them to put themselves in the shoes of a video assistant referee.

Shown six clips from Premier League matches, the prospective students had to identify whether an on-field decision was correct or should be overturned by VAR.

At the end of the interactive activity, they were given their overall score, the highest of which over the two days was 4/6.
