UCFB announces new partnership with Coventry Rugby Academy 

University Campus of Football Business is delighted to have partnered with Coventry Rugby Academy, offering academy players an incredible opportunity to study alongside their careers. 

This new partnership will provide a selected cohort of Coventry Rugby Academy players and other talented players in the region with the opportunity to enroll at UCFB, where they will have access to a full-time rugby training schedule alongside their studies. 

In the first year, the academic focus will be on UCFB’s BA (Hons) Sports Management (distance with attendance) degree course, with further sports-focused degree options to be introduced as our partnership progresses. 

UCFB’s distance learning with attendance course allows student athletes to have seamless integration with Coventry Rugby’s U23 and First Team opportunities, ensuring continuous player development. The course is available to those who are signed as full-time professionals and those who wish to continue their development with the club. 

Speaking about the new partnership, Coventry Rugby’s Academy Manager, Matthew Jones said: “Coventry Rugby Academy is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with UCFB, bringing young athletes an unrivalled opportunity to pursue both elite rugby and higher education.”
