UCFB Manchester to welcome Football League club CEO to upcoming event

UCFB is delighted to be welcoming chief executive of Grimsby Town Football Club, Polly Bancroft, to our Manchester Campus for one of our upcoming events.

Polly will be at UCFB Manchester on Wednesday, December 4, as our guest speaker during the Sports Enterprise Exchange Event.

Polly has had great experience in British football, working both on the pitch and behind the scenes at some of the biggest clubs and county football associations in the country.

From coaching at Leeds United to being head of women’s football at Manchester United, Polly has had a fantastic career within the football industry, all before becoming the chief executive of Grimsby Town FC.

This is in addition to Nottingham Forest, Brighton and Hove Albion and UEFA.

Her visit to UCFB Manchester will be an extraordinary opportunity for students, both wanting to work in men’s and women’s football, to network with Polly and learn some incredible insight into the industry.

The Sports Enterprise Exchange Event, which is to be held at Old Trafford on the morning of Wednesday, December 4, will include a networking breakfast followed by a discussion and insight into entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship within sport.

Polly is attending as part of UCFB’s partnership with the League Managers Association, which sees guest speakers from across the sports industry visit UCFB for speaker and workshop sessions, while offering advice and guidance to students as they pursue their dream career in the industry.
