We recently caught up with UCFB graduates who since graduating, have earned positions working in multiple media departments at Sky Studios.
As part of UCFB’s partnership with Sky, our graduates working at the Osterley-based studios told us what it’s like working at one of the most illustrious sports media companies in the world, including:
Here’s what they had to say about their journey from UCFB to Sky:
Kiara: “The company itself is a really good company to work for. It’s very inclusive. There’s so many opportunities in so many different departments. You can shadow so many roles.”
David: “I grew up watching sports news, so being here now behind the scenes, contributing to the programmes is really cool. I’m getting to watch sport as I’m working, which is obviously great and a dream for a lot of people.”
Tom: “It’s impressive, with some of the best facilities. I guess you get over the excitement of it when you first arrive, but there’s no better place to be.”
Andy: “To work for Sky has always been a dream of mine, especially getting the chance to work on Soccer Saturdays and Soccer Specials.”
Josh: “As a sports fan, it’s pretty much a dream come true. We get to come to work and work on live sport, which is a dream job.”
Joe: “Everyone here is a sports fan. You get to have chats and get into it all with everyone. It’s great.”
