Andrew is a Lecturer at UCFB Manchester, specialising in coaching, talent development and perceptual-cognitive skills in football. Alongside his academic role, he coaches within academy football and works as a Coach Developer for the Football Association.
He is currently undertaking a PhD investigating perceptual-cognitive skills in talent development environments. This work aims to enhance the way academy coaches understand and apply perceptual-cognitive skill identification and assessment within their practices. With experience across education, research and professional practice, Andrew aims to bring a blend of evidence informed insights and practical experiences to his teaching.
