Brendan Flood

Chief Executive Officer of UCFB and Chairman of UCFB Holdings

 

Brendan Flood is the Chairman and Founder of UCFB (University Campus of Football Business). UCFB was initially established during 2011 in Turf Moor stadium, Burnley, as the world’s first higher education institution with university degrees in football business and sport.

 

Brendan has led the expansion of UCFB to new heights, including launching Campuses in Wembley, Manchester, Miami along with global hubs in Toronto, New York and Melbourne. Brendan’s background includes steering football clubs on both sides of the Atlantic to success.

 

First joining Burnley FC’s Board of Directors in 2006, Brendan became its major investor and Operational Director in 2007, playing a significant role in the club’s first promotion to the Premier League in 2009 and the Club’s two subsequent promotions.

 

One of the founding owners of MLS side Orlando City SC, Florida, Brendan has helped to shape its remarkable success. Orlando City was created in 2010 and the owners developed a new soccer specific stadium and secured its Major League Soccer status.

 

Having operated in the property industry for 40 years, Brendan is also the Chairman of Cole Waterhouse Group, which is a leading development group based in Manchester. Cole Waterhouse specialises in new build BTR and Logistics developments throughout the UK.
