Alexander has significant experience in teaching Sports Law. He has also lectured on and designed modules for Cyberlaw, Human Rights, Mental Health Law, Research Ethics and Evidence. He co-organised and convened the Postgraduate Bioethics Conference and was a coordinator of the Small Business Clinic at the University of Southampton. He was previously Deputy Chairman of the Postgraduate Student Committee of the Institute of Medical Ethics, a Committee he co-founded.
His current research lies at the intersection of sports law and medical law, and has published in different journals and presented at a variety of international law and bioethics conferences. Alexander has worked as a legal consultant on matters pertaining to data protection, as well as worked on the Hidden Law Makers Project in which he presented funded research on new graphical methodologies to consider hidden law making influences in medical law cases. He also acts as an external examiner.
Alexander has extensive experience of working on investment fund legal agreements and compliance issues from his time at Old Mutual Wealth.
