Professor Martyn Jones

Professor Martyn Jones was the sole Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Kingston University until October 2023. He was first appointed in 2007 as Pro Vice-Chancellor for External Affairs and subsequently to that, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Academic Support and Student Services. Prior to this he was the Dean of the Business Schools at Kent and Aberystwyth Universities and Director of the Cranfield MBA.

Professor Jones is the Chancellor of BPP University, a challenger provider with IDAP. He is an independent director of the University and for seven years was the Independent Chair of the Academic Council which is the prime academic body of the institution.

Additionally, Professor Jones is the Head of Global Standards for the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the Business Graduate Association. He is regarded as one of the world’s foremost authorities on business education and his expertise sought by Universities, National Agencies and governments.
