Sports Business and Management

Richard Flash teaches football business and sports management. As a young professional footballer he played alongside with David Beckham for Manchester United. Retiring with a knee fracture, he worked as a business manager for Goals Soccer Centres. He gained his Masters and PGCE qualifications before joining UCFB in our first year. His research focuses on the racism faced by the Premier League’s Black footballers, and he is a research partner of football charity Show Racism the Red Card.
