Postgraduate Scholarships

Scholarships include:

• Mentorship from either a UCFB or industry professional
• 25% reduction on your tuition fees

Eligibility

• Students must be enrolled on a January 2025 Postgraduate course. They must be considered ‘UK / Home’ students for fee purposes and meet one of the following criteria:

  • Be in the first generation of their family to attend university (at the point of enrolment on their first under-graduate degree)
  • Have a family household income of less than £25,000 per year
  • Identify as being disabled or have a specific learning difference
  • Be recognised by Social Services as a Young Adult Carer
  • Have spent time in care in the UK, been placed in a foyer or estranged from family

For outstanding UCFB female applicants with leadership ambitions and a commitment to working with the UCFB and partners to increase access for women into the sports industry.

Scholarships include:

• 15% reduction on your tuition fees
• Ticket to attend a Global Summit of your choice
• Mentorship from a senior industry professional, such as Kelly Simmons and others alike
• Role as a UCFB Student Ambassador – specifically involved in strategies to increase access for women into the sports industry

Eligibility

• Female student holding an offer for a UCFB Postgraduate course

For elite athletes who have competed or are currently competing at an elite level, for example national or international level, in any sport.

Scholarship includes:

• 50% reduction in tuition fees
• UCFB Sports Kit (worth up to $120)
• Mentorship throughout your degree
• Tailored athlete support services are also available

• Applicants who have competed at an elite level, for example, national or international level, in any sport

In Partnership with The Jason Roberts Foundation

Offered in partnership with the Jason Roberts Foundation, the scholarship programme is open to an outstanding applicant holding an offer for any of UCFB Postgraduate courses. Candidates should have an interest in inclusion and diversity within sport, have the ability to lead, and possess experience with outreach work within a local community.

Scholarship includes: 

• Mentorship with Global Advisory Board Member Jason Roberts
• 15% reduction in Postgraduate tuition fees
• £500 towards sports industry events and costs associated with involvement in projects with the Jason Roberts Foundation 

Eligibility Criteria: 

This first-of-its-kind scholarship is for new postgraduate students of a South Asian heritage who have a passion for increasing participation and representation of South Asians within football.

Scholarship includes:

• Mentorship with Dev Trehan, Sky Sports News journalist and British South Asians in football pioneer
• 15% reduction on your Postgraduate Tuition Fees

Eligibility criteria:

• Applicants must demonstrate passion for and commitment to increasing participation and representation of South Asians within Football
• Applicants should have accepted an offer on a UCFB Postgraduate course

For UCFB’s most impressive final year students and recent graduates.

Scholarship Includes:

• 25% reduction in Postgraduate tuition fees
• Mentorship throughout degree
• Ticket to Global Summit of your choice (worth up to £1500)

Eligibility Criteria:

• UCFB final year student (or graduated within the last year)
