One of UCFB’s programme leaders has given her top tips of how to succeed in the sports industry.
Stacy Hughes, UCFB Manchester’s programme leader for BA (Hons) Physical Education, spoke to us and told her the advice she gives to those wanting to forge a career within the sports industry.
Here’s what she said:
Make sure that the course you choose, you are passionate about. You want to succeed within that area. By doing that, you will enjoy every session that you do.
Make sure that you are motivated and accountable for your own actions. Making sure you succeed means making sure you attend 100 per cent of everything that this university has to offer you.
Make sure you are doing all the voluntary work you can possibly do. Make sure you are getting involved with our Employability and Careers Planning Team, who have lots of opportunities for you to get into the industry and be exactly where you want to be.
