Dr. Syeda Abidi has been working in education for almost a decade now. She completed her PhD at the University of Bolton and has worked in education and healthcare to provide mental health support to children and different members of the community.
Strong management organisational and management skills, supported by good communication skills. She has extensive teaching experience in secondary, further, and higher education, including working with adults with special educational needs and extending participation.
She has worked on a variety of research projects, allowing her to develop a diverse skill set involving several qualitative research methods. Syeda has been leading business and marketing courses for over seven years. Currently leading and assisting with the level 6 module for industry engagement.

The primary research interests are in the understanding of the term inclusion, as well as the epistemological understanding and progress of inclusive practices within the conceptual framework that is now being practiced around the world. Inclusion is a difficult subject, and the best way to address it is by fostering mutual understanding among social partners within the democratic forum.
Future research goals aim to explore the intricacies of inclusion and how inclusive practices might challenge the notion of identical learning within a single pedagogical practice, building on the PhD foundation. Furthermore, the investigation of inclusive pedagogical techniques by putting into reality all of the ideals and ethical principles that a truly democratic society embodies.
As a researcher, she aims to improve her research skills and work in a precise setting to gain valuable experience in her career.
