Jordan Hearne

I graduated from UCFB in 2016 with a BA (Hons) in Football Business & Finance and have been working at the institution for over nine years. Since 2018, I have been supporting students across the Midlands region who are passionate about pursuing a career in sport and considering UCFB as their next step.

Football is my favourite sport.

In terms of my favourite sporting moment, from recent memory attending the FA Cup Final in 2017 and seeing my team Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-1 in the final at Wembley is right up there.

Sport is fast paced and always changing and that type of environment excites me. The opportunities and job roles in sport are continuing to grow as people are inspired to take up a new hobby or activity. Sport is in everyone’s lives and has impacts not just on other sports businesses but non-sport organisations as well as sport has outreach like no other industry. Sport allows you to work with many organisations and further develop your skills in areas you may not be aware of which could lead to roles outside the industry as well.

I am predominantly based in the West & East Midlands, but also cover other central areas across the UK.
