Kevin Green is the Course Leader for the BA (Hons) Football Coaching and Management degree. A UEFA A Licence coach, Kevin brings over 25 years of practical coaching and teaching experience across grassroots, academy, and elite environments.
Before moving into higher education, Kevin worked with Fulham FC and Chelsea FC, before joining The Football Association as Regional Coach Mentor for London. He has also held the position of Technical Director at an FA Centre of Excellence, where he oversaw player and coach development. In addition to his extensive coaching career, Kevin is recognised for his pioneering research into the modern game. He has conducted in-depth industry studies, using data and insights to support the development of several Premier League managers and Champions League winners.
His research has focused particularly on the strategic use of fouls in professional football, applying advanced statistical analysis to reveal patterns and performance implications that influence decision-making at the highest level. Kevin also teaches across every level of coach education within UEFA associations and continues to work as a consultant for a Premier League club. Alongside this, he has taught in both inner-city and independent schools in West London, giving him a broad perspective on education and talent development.
