Kieran has a keen interest in youth leadership and is currently undertaking a PhD at Loughborough University, London exploring ‘Legitimacy in youth voice within County Football Association governance in England’. For several years, Kieran has worked with organisations such as The FA, AoC Sport, BUCS and Youth Sport Trust, designing and delivering youth leadership programmes, and supporting the organisations to develop their offer for young people.

Aside from this, Kieran has a background in event organisation and delivery, having worked as part of the FA Futsal events team and as a Protocol Manager at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. In addition to his work at UCFB, Kieran also works as an Event Consultant on the Premier League Games Programme and serves as a trustee on the board of North East Active Partnership, RISE.
