Areas of the UK I work

I graduated with a BBM (IB) – Bachelor of International Business Management from India in 2016 and moved to the UK to pursue my master’s degree in MSc International Business Management at Nottingham Trent University, graduating in 2018. Since then, I’ve worked in the education sector, focusing on recruitment and marketing, leveraging my own journey as an international student to better understand and support student’s needs.

Originally from western India, I’ve had the privilege of travelling to different places through work to explore and understand the student needs and international markets. These experiences have given me a global perspective and a deep understanding of cultural diversity, which I bring into my work every day. For the past 4 years, I’ve been working as a Postgraduate Recruitment Manager at UCFB, helping students achieve their academic and career aspirations. Supporting students to succeed and watching them grow is truly my passion. I always strive to go above and beyond to ensure they feel confident in their next steps.

I’ve been a cricket enthusiast for as long as I can remember, and I’m a big fan of Virat Kohli (Indian Cricketer). One of my favourite sporting moments was Kohli’s incredible match-winning century during the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup against Pakistan. The sheer determination and skill he showed under pressure were nothing short of inspiring.

While cricket is my main passion, I enjoy following a range of other sports and often find myself captivated by major sporting events that unite people globally.

Sport is much more than what happens on the pitch; it’s a thriving global industry with countless opportunities in areas like marketing, management, data analytics, and event operations. However, many people aren’t aware of the diverse career paths available within this field. By working in the sports industry, you’re not just engaging with your passion but also unlocking doors to a network of professionals, organizations, and opportunities that span the globe.

Sport is also a business, behind every match, team, or event is a complex ecosystem of professionals ensuring its success. Whether it’s managing a team’s brand, organizing major tournaments, or using data to improve performance, the possibilities are endless. My work aims to inspire students to see sport as more than just a pastime and help them realize the potential for rewarding, impactful careers within this dynamic industry.

I’m based in London and work across the postgraduate market in the UK, supporting them in their journey into higher education.
