One of our media graduates has been talking to us about how quickly her sports industry career progressed when joining UCFB.
Rio Rosenberg, a BA (Hons) Football Business and Media graduate, said that the skills she has gained from her degree have been crucial to her success in her career.
She said: “The course was exceptional, learning so many skills within the industry. The course has helped me massively when I have gone into the industry.”
Recently graduated, Rio took full advantage of going and grabbing opportunities alongside studying for her degree. During her studies, she became head of women’s football coverage for HaytersTV, as well as hosting the Euro Women’s Roadshow with Middlesex FA at Tower Bridge.
She also worked with FA as a presenter for the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

When asked about her time at UCFB, Rio added: “I don’t think I’ve been in an environment where all the girls love football.
“The people you surround yourself with is so important, and you will find that out pretty quickly at university.
