UCFB Manchester to host Women’s Raise Your Game with partners Kick It Out and Sky

UCFB is delighted to be hosting the Women’s Raise Your Game Event at our Manchester Campus with our partners Kick It Out and Sky.

The event is an opportunity for women to network, listen to industry insight and kickstart their career in the football and wider sports industry.

Women’s Raise Your Game will take place on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, between 9am and 5.30pm at UCFB’s MediaCityUK facility at Quay Plaza.

Hosting on the day will be Sky Sports reporter Miriam Walker-Khan.

As part of the event, attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Receive one-to-one mentoring from women who are leading sports industry professionals
• Network with representatives from football’s leading organisations, including Sky Sports and The Premier League
• Explore and discuss the multifaceted experiences and challenges that women from underrepresented groups face in the football industry
• Receive career coaching to help your professional development and wellbeing
• Hear from industry leaders from across the game on how to unlock your potential and access pathways into the game
• Receive practical employability support to help you in your career building
• Interact and engage with peers and industry-focused brands and organisations
