From the 2021/22 academic year, University Campus of Football Business (UCFB) and Global Institute of Sport (GIS) are colleges of the University of East London (UEL). All graduates that begin their degrees with UCFB or GIS from 2021/22 onwards will receive a degree from UEL.
Launched in October 2020, the academic partnership draws on UEL’s global sports proposition, aligning with the expertise and academic remit of UCFB and GIS. Each institution has a strategic focus on graduate careers and distinctive industry links that set them apart.

- Top 50 UK institutions for sports programmes in the Complete University Guide Rankings 2021;
- Top 250 world institutions in the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2021;

- Top 25% of universities globally for international outlook in the Times Higher Education World Rankings 2021
