Join our LMA Guest Speaker Sessions

We will be running a guest speaker session specifically for our schools and colleges. Through our partnership with the League Managers Association, UCFB have previously welcomed Roy Keane, Gareth Southgate, Emma Hayes & Alan Shearer, to name just a few - check out our YouTube channel for more.

We're offering your students the opportunity to experience just how inspiring this can be for themselves, by providing access to our next exclusive interview on Thursday 6th May from 10am. The guest is always a surprise, but it’s always hugely insightful.

Take A Stand Challenge

We're collaborating with The Inspirational Learning Group and Kick It Out to launch the Take A Stand Challenge - a programme designed to raise awareness of the issues affecting black players, coaches and managers in football.

Students aged 14-19 will reflect on the personal stories of several former professional players before creating their own Manifesto for Change.

The programme will culminate in a National Finals event and is FREE of charge to schools and colleges across the UK.

FAQ's
Will a representative from UCFB still be available to support my Year 12/13 students?

Yes! We have an in school offering of presentations, group workshops, attending careers fairs, etc. and a variety of live virtual material that can be delivered online directly to your classroom at a time to suit you.

Please get in touch and we can flexibly work within your school/college's policies.

Are visits to UCFB's Campus' (stadiums) going ahead?

Yes- we are limited to a smaller number of 30 to ensure social distancing and maintain a safe learning environment. Please get in touch and we will be able to discuss availability and/or explain the protocols in more detail.

Is there a robust risk assessment and interventions in place to ensure a safe learning environment?

Yes- the safety of our colleagues, students and visitors is of paramount concern at UCFB. As we work within stadiums/corporate environments and are adhering to strict Covid-19 safe policies and safeguards, this is of an exceedingly high priority.

If you would like more information, please get in touch and we can discuss this in detail with you.

Are you able to deliver virtual presentations to students in school/college?

Yes. All of our student facing staff have experience delivering virtual presentations and are flexible to your chosen delivery method. We also have our own software we can use which allows interaction via live chat and also a live classroom format so your students can engage with real time conversation, questions and interactive activities.

Are you delivering on campus Open Days?

Our Open Days are currently running in a virtual format. These events still allow for interaction, live chat, video content, campus information, student life and other enrichment live content.

The delivery method is constantly being reviewed in line with government advice and industry policies.

Are you offering face to face and/or online 1-2-1 support for students?

Yes. This is something UCFB feels is so important as students enter their key decision-making period; decisions that will shape their future opportunities.

If you would like us to visit your school to speak to a student or group of students about HE and what UCFB has to offer and if it is right for them, this can arranged to fit in with your timetable. We are flexible on the delivery of these interactions- in person, online using software such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc., via social media live chat and/or over the phone.
