Lecturer in Broadcast Media
Robin has worked as a journalist and broadcaster in the media for 38 years in newspapers, radio and TV. He has spent 11 years on the staff at the BBC as a producer and broadcaster on national radio in London, notably with Radio 5 Live. He was also a TV presenter on the BBC News Channel as a staffer and freelancer for 13 years.
He worked for a season at the ITV Sport Channel, after which he set up his own video production and media training company Capricorn Media which is now into its 15th year. Robin still trains professional broadcasters at the BBC, and at Premier League Productions, alongside his work as a three-day-a-week lecturer at UCFB Wembley.

Robin balances his lecturing with his work with media training for sport and business. Among his high profile sporting trainees are Gareth Bale, Adam Lallana, Theo Walcott and Cesc Fabregas. Currently he trains many CEOs to present themselves effectively in their business and with clients and on radio and TV.
His work extends to presenting training and coaching in public speaking. He has coached many coaches and athletes ahead of major games like the Olympics, and he works with broadcasters ahead of major competitions such as the FIFA World Cup.
