Sport is a truly global business worth billions of pounds. With increased TV revenues, marketing opportunities and ever-growing fan bases, never has there been more job opportunities in the industry.

UCFB, a world-first in higher education, trains and educates individuals for these roles. Taught in our world-class campuses in London and Manchester, which have the iconic at Wembley and Etihad Stadium at their heart, students can become graduates and many move on to first class employment within an industry they have a passion for.

Item 3
Ben Friend, UCFB Graduate and Event Manager at The FA

We’re proud to say 92% of UCFB graduates are in full time employment within six months of graduating, and almost two thirds of those work in the football and sport industries with bodies such as The Football Association, Manchester United, Stoke City, Opta and EDP Soccer in New Jersey.

From day one, UCFB’s unique approach to higher education equips students for the rigours but also the exciting and life changing experiences a career in this fast paced world can offer.

We firmly believe there are three ingredients necessary for such a career: a degree, a network of contacts and a CV full of fantastic work placements. That’s why UCFB offers the whole package.

Item 5
UCFB Francesca Doran during her work placement at ITV Granada

As well as learning from our band of experienced, industry-based academics, students have the opportunity to apply for truly amazing work experience placements in the UK and abroad. Previous students have worked at football clubs in Brazil, the UEFA Champions League final and England international games at Wembley.

And thanks to our Employability & Enrichment team and Executive Guest Speaker Series, students get the weekly opportunity to hear from industry professionals, ask them questions and gain key contacts for their future careers. Speakers in recent months have included national team managers Gareth Southgate and Roberto Martinez, BBC presenters including Gabby Logan and Guillem Balague, as well as leading pundits and former England internationals Jermaine Jenas and Sue Smith.

Information for parents and guardians

Choosing the appropriate degree programme and institution is both an exciting and challenging experience for students. At the University Campus of Football Business (UCFB), we understand that as a parent or guardian it’s important for you to be involved in the decision making process to help ensure your child makes the right choice.
