UCFB is pleased to announce that Liverpool and England legend John Barnes will be our keynote speaker at this year’s Future Leaders Conference.

The conference, which takes place annually at St George’s Park, the home of England Football, will take place this April.

This allows our students from both Wembley and Manchester to network with professionals and executives from across the British sports industry.

Previous guest speakers at the conference include Dion Dublin, Sue Smith and Matt le Tissier.

The latest in this incredible lineup is John Barnes, who made 550 top-flight appearances during his playing career, for Watford, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Charlton Athletic.

In addition to this, Barnes earned 79 caps for England, featuring at the 1986 and 1990 FIFA World Cups.

After his retirement, Barnes went on to manage Celtic, Tranmere Rovers and the Jamaican National Team.

The 2024 Future Leaders Conference is available for Third Year students, as well as online students and Master’s students with our Global Institute of Sport.
